The Heli-pad in Meribel is
situated next to the car park of the Altiport
Hotel and the Altiport runway at an altitude of
approximately 1800m - 1900m. Meribels helipad
is also very close to the Altiport Green ski
run for those wanting a quick get away on skis.

Unlike some heli-pads in the alps
to land at Meribel in a helicopter there is no
landing fee which actually helps to keep the Helicopter transfer costs
down.

When
flying into Meribel unless you are staying at
the Altiport hotel it will be necessary to
organise transport to your final destination.
|
|

|
WHITETRACKS TRANSPORT
|
|
Whitetracks
transportation from the Meribel Helipad to
your Meribel Chalet, Hotel or Apartment is
charged as extra to the Helicopter Transfer. Unfortunately Whitetracks
Transportation will not always be available to transport you due to the
lack of vehicles and the fact that Whitetracks might be transporting
your luggage to resort for you. That is also charged as an extra to the
Helicopter Transfer cost.

SKI
|
|
With
the location of the helipad in Meribel being
so close to the slopes i.e. the Altiport
green run it is possible to just strap on a pair of skis or a snowboard
to pretty much get anywhere in Meribel or
even down to Meribel Village by use of the
Lapin ski run. Please note that if you've just traveled
from the airport and you're wishing to ski your first destination must
be the lift pass office. You will not be aloud on the lift system
without a pass.

FREE BUS
|
|
The
last bus stop of the free meribus route is Meribel Altiport which is
located near the entrance of the Altiport car
park. This bus travels to all areas of Meribel.
If you are staying in Motterat, Meribel
Village or
further down the Valley you must change buses at Meribel
Centre just outside La Tavern pub/bar.

HIRE CAR

Whitetracks
can organise a self drive hire car to be waiting at the Helipad for
your arrival. Hire cars must obviously be organised in advance. For

|

Whitetracks
can provide you will the telephone numbers of several different taxi
companies based within Meribel for you to
organise your own taxi transport. Whitetracks would prefer that you
organise your own taxi transport due to problems that we have had in
the past with reliability etc.
