Courchevel plays host to a variety of winter activities and snow sports during the winter months. Whether you are looking to speed up and down the pistes at dusk under moonlight on a snowmobile, learn how to groom the pistes whilst driving a piste basher, float over the mountains in a hot air balloon or the high octane buzz of jumping out of an airplane while participating in a tandem Skydive the choice is ultimately yours!

All the winter activities and snow sports listed above are based in Courchevel or the Courchevel valley. This means they can be easily accessed from pretty much anywhere in Courchevel either by skiing, walking, a free bus ride or a short cheap(ish) taxi journey. All the above activites are daytime activities that can all be accessed via the ski lift system. Paragliding, Hang Gliding and the Microlight can only be reached via skiing whereas, the other activities can all be reached by road. Due to the early start of Hot Air Ballooning the ski lifts will not be open in time to ski to the activity. After you have taken part in though it is possible to be dropped off at the slopes afterwards.
Both driving activites are evening activites so it is possible to ski to them but the lifts will then close meaning you will have to get transport back to Courchevel from Val Thorens. The above winter activities and snow sports are all in distant ski resorts and ski domains. If you purchase a 6 day Three Valley lift pass you will get a free days skiing in these ski domains. This means if you would like to take part in one of these activities you can make a day of it and ski in different resort around your chosen activity.
